21 Clever Examples of English Language

I came across this on the web and thought they were wonderful examples of our language. And now you can see why they say English is so hard to learn. In 5) the second 'lead' means 'leash' for Americans.

  1. In number 5, lead as in the metal, which is very heavy. If he got the lead(metal) out he could lead the pack with his dog on a purple lead(leash). Love your pictures.
